Ocean Freight (FCL / LCL)

Full container and shared container sailings between the world's major ports.

Full container and shared container sailings between the world's major ports.

How we handle it

Ocean freight carries most of the world's traded goods, and it is usually the most economical way to move volume over distance. We book space with established carriers and consolidators, so you can choose between a full container for your own cargo or a shared container when you do not have enough to fill one.

With a full container load (FCL) the container is yours alone: it is packed at your premises or ours, sealed, and stays sealed until it reaches the consignee. With less-than-container load (LCL) your cargo travels alongside other shippers' freight in a consolidated box, and you pay for the space you use. We will tell you plainly which option makes sense for your volume, timeline and budget.

Every sea shipment comes with the paperwork it needs: booking confirmation, the bill of lading, commercial documents checked against your instructions, and export or import clearance when you want us to handle it. We keep you informed at each milestone, such as gate-in, loading, departure, transhipment and arrival, and we flag problems early rather than after the fact.

Transit times depend on the trade lane, the carrier's schedule and port conditions, so we give you realistic estimates rather than fixed promises. Tell us where the cargo is going and when you need it, and we will propose the routing that fits.

What is included

  • Full container load (20ft, 40ft, 40ft high cube)
  • Less-than-container load with consolidated sailings
  • Port-to-port and door-to-door options
  • Booking, documentation and bill of lading handled for you
  • Milestone tracking from booking to delivery

Ideal for

Palletised goods, machinery, raw materials, retail stock and anything that is not urgent enough to fly.

What we need from you

To quote Ocean Freight accurately, we need the pick-up and delivery locations, a description of the goods, their weight and dimensions, the number of packages and your preferred dates. If you are unsure about any detail, send what you have and we will help fill in the rest.

How pricing works

Our quotes list freight charges, local handling and any surcharges separately, so you can see what you are paying for. Prices depend on the route, carrier rates at the time of booking and the nature of the cargo. Duties and taxes at the destination are normally charged separately.
