For safety and legal reasons some goods cannot be shipped, or can only be shipped under special conditions. If you are not sure about your goods, ask us before you book.
Goods we cannot accept
- Illegal drugs and controlled substances without proper licences
- Weapons, firearms, ammunition and their parts, unless licensed and arranged in advance
- Explosives, fireworks and military equipment
- Counterfeit or pirated goods
- Human remains and body parts
- Stolen property and goods subject to sanctions or embargoes
- Cash, bearer bonds and similar negotiable instruments
Goods that need prior arrangement
- Dangerous goods: flammable liquids and gases, corrosives, toxic and radioactive materials, lithium batteries
- Live animals and plants
- Perishable food, medicines and temperature-controlled goods
- High-value items such as jewellery, art and electronics
- Alcohol, tobacco and goods subject to import quotas or licences
- Oversized, overweight or out-of-gauge cargo
Country and carrier rules
Every country and carrier has its own list of restricted goods, and these lists change. The Customer is responsible for checking the rules of the origin, transit and destination countries. Goods found to be prohibited may be refused, held, returned or surrendered to the authorities at the Customer's cost.
