Customs Brokerage

Export and import clearance, classification and documentation so your cargo keeps moving.

Export and import clearance, classification and documentation so your cargo keeps moving.

How we handle it

Customs clearance is the point where many shipments stall. A missing document, a wrong tariff code or an incomplete description can mean storage charges and delay. Our brokerage service prepares and submits declarations so that your goods are cleared correctly the first time.

We start by reviewing your documents: the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or air waybill, and any certificates of origin or permits. We classify the goods, estimate the duties and taxes that apply, and tell you what to expect before the cargo arrives, not afterwards.

Rules differ by country and by product. Some goods need licences, inspections or special declarations, and some are restricted or prohibited altogether. We will tell you what is required for your cargo and the destination, and we can coordinate with local authorities and agents where the rules call for it.

Customs authorities make their own decisions, and we cannot promise a particular outcome. What we can do is present your shipment accurately and keep you informed at each step, from submission to release.

What is included

  • Import and export declarations
  • Tariff classification and duty estimates
  • Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate checks
  • Licences and permits coordination where required
  • Guidance on duties, taxes and incoterms

Ideal for

First-time importers and exporters, regulated goods, and businesses that would rather not manage clearance themselves.

What we need from you

To quote Customs Brokerage accurately, we need the pick-up and delivery locations, a description of the goods, their weight and dimensions, the number of packages and your preferred dates. If you are unsure about any detail, send what you have and we will help fill in the rest.

How pricing works

Our quotes list freight charges, local handling and any surcharges separately, so you can see what you are paying for. Prices depend on the route, carrier rates at the time of booking and the nature of the cargo. Duties and taxes at the destination are normally charged separately.
