Chartering

Vessel and aircraft charter brokerage for bulk, break-bulk and dedicated-capacity needs.

Vessel and aircraft charter brokerage for bulk, break-bulk and dedicated-capacity needs.

How we handle it

Sometimes liner schedules do not match what the cargo needs. Chartering gives you dedicated capacity on a vessel or aircraft, arranged around your cargo, your dates and your ports.

As a broker we help you find suitable tonnage, compare offers and negotiate terms. We explain the options, such as voyage charter or part-cargo space, and what they mean for cost, risk and responsibilities. Contract terms and charter parties are agreed between the parties, and we make sure you understand them before you sign.

Once the charter is agreed, we coordinate the practical side: nominations, port arrangements, cargo documents and communications with the owner or operator. Where you also need agency services at the ports, we can arrange those as well.

Charter markets move with supply, demand and seasonality, so quotes are indicative until confirmed. Share your cargo, quantity, loading and discharge ports and laycan, and we will start the enquiry.

What is included

  • Vessel space and full-vessel charter enquiries
  • Air charter for urgent or outsized cargo
  • Market information and fixture negotiation
  • Charter party and contract coordination
  • Voyage monitoring and port coordination

Ideal for

Bulk and break-bulk shippers, project cargo and customers who need capacity on their own schedule.

What we need from you

To quote Chartering accurately, we need the pick-up and delivery locations, a description of the goods, their weight and dimensions, the number of packages and your preferred dates. If you are unsure about any detail, send what you have and we will help fill in the rest.

How pricing works

Our quotes list freight charges, local handling and any surcharges separately, so you can see what you are paying for. Prices depend on the route, carrier rates at the time of booking and the nature of the cargo. Duties and taxes at the destination are normally charged separately.
